ABOUT SFUPS
Welcome to the South Florida Underwater Photography Society's web site. SFUPS is a non-profit organization dedicated to the promotion of underwater photography through its membership. The South Florida Underwater Photography Society was created in 1980 as a means and place for fellow underwater photographers to exchange and share ideas and techniques of underwater photography.
Monthly meetings consist of guest speakers, digital image presentations, monthly intra-club photo competitions and exchanges of information relating to scuba diving and all aspects of underwater imaging. We also organize dive trips, both local and exotic, with the photographer in mind. At our holiday party in December, the photographer with the highest number of points accumulated from club contests and participation is awarded the Photographer of the Year trophy.
Our members live in Dade County, Broward County and Palm Beach County, as well as around the United States and abroad.
Everyone is invited to attend the meetings to learn more about underwater photography and to meet others who share the same interest. |
