Mike Schmale
I began taking pictures underwater in the late 1970s with an old Nikonos III, soon switching to a series of Canon SLR cameras in Ikelite housings. I currently use a Canon 40D in an Ikelite housing with DS125 strobes.
My favorite places to shoot these days are the reefs of the Indo-Pacific with recent trips to Papua New Guinea and several areas of Indonesia being major highlights. The photo shown here was taken at Tufi Resort in PNG (note "fjords" in background) by Lynne Fieber.
