As one of the largest societies of its kind, SFUPS provides inspiration and education in underwater imaging, raises awareness of ocean conservation initiatives, and shares images of the abundance of sea life and reef scenes South Florida waters have to offer.

Lawrence is a professional underwater photographer and educator based at the Photo Center at the Lembeh Resort, the first Backscatter-authorized photo center in Asia. As their resident Photo Pro, Lawrence brings over five years of experience in underwater photography and dive guiding. His work has been published internationally, and his background in the underwater photography industry has given him extensive knowledge of a wide range of camera systems and equipment. Lawrence supports guests through courses, personal coaching, image critiques, and equipment troubleshooting, helping photographers capture the incredible marine life of the Lembeh Strait. Lawrence has been a friend to SFUPS for many years, sharing his expertise in equipment with our membership as a member of the Reef Photo team prior to his move to Lembeh.
