Steve Kovacs

Born and raised in Canada, Steven Kovacs bought his first underwater camera system in 2001 while still living up north. He moved to Florida shortly thereafter to pursue his quickly growing passion for underwater photography in a more tropical setting.
 
Steve enjoys specializing in macro photography, especially animal behavior, for which he has won numerous international awards. He also has a coffee table book, 'Magic Beneath the Seas', which was published in April 2008.
 
His current arsenal includes a Nikon D200 in an Ikelite housing with dual Ikelite DS160 strobes.
