Philip Burghard

My passion for photography started back in 2011 when I took my first camera underwater.  I truly had no idea what I was doing, but I quickly fell in love and realized this would change my diving forever.   I’ve spent the last few years finishing my Bachelors in Accounting and taking photos every chance I could get.  Once I realized I was getting involved in a respected, but extremely boring career, I decided to make a change.  Currently, I’m an Equipment Specialist at Reef Photo & Video and am thoroughly enjoying the career change. 

Although I started my photography underwater, I have recently expanded my creativity into capturing the beauty above the surface too.  My hope is that my photographs will inspire others to appreciate the wonder and beauty of the world around us.
